This release provides a number of important improvements.
First of all Jira Auditor started to perform better for Jira instances in languages other than English. Previously we had some problems with tracking a part of events for non-English localizations but now that is completely resolved.
Another important fix is making screen tabs changes (adding, renaming and deleting) tracking work fine in Jira 5.
Finally, we made a change to the manu item for Jira Auditor. Now instead of 'Audit Log' it reads 'Audit Log (Jira Auditor)' to prevent mixing it up with the plugin audit log available in Jira.

We finally released a long-awaited feature. From now on you will be able to configure access rights to the audit log and decide whether you want to give access to all administrators (jira-administrators and jira-system-administrators) or restrict it to system administrators (jira-system-administrators) only. Configuration option is available in plugin configuration.

This release contains minor improvements and two important fixes. We recommend that you upgrade to this version as soon as possible.
There was a bug in the way version 1.0.4 dealt with Atlassian's UPM. That caused some actions you do via UPM to fail. This is fixed now and you can safely use Jira Auditor with UPM.
Jira Auditor now honors global permission scheme now in regards to access rights for its reports and configuration. Now you don't have problems if you use custom administrators groups different from jira-administrators or jira-system-administrators.
Version 1.0.4 - July 26, 2011
This verion adds some more functionality to the application and also fixes an annoying bug.
Now jira-system-administrators group members are granted permissions to view log. Previously only jira-administrator members were given permissions for this.
A number of new events are tracked now:
- User sign ups
- Project categories changes and selection for projects
- Time tracking settings changes
- Mail servers configuration changes
- Adding/removing listeners
We also changed the way of obtaining database connection to a more portable one.
Most of the new features in this release are our users requests. We encourage you to let us know if there is anything you miss.
